Patrick Berry is an associate with Wolfenzon Rolle. His practice focuses on complex construction defect litigation where he defends owners, developers, manufacturers, contractors, design build professionals, design build contractors and their insurers. Mr. Berry has experience in defending professional liability matters, employment and labor cases and has provided reliable assistance to commercial businesses, restaurants, and public and private landlords regarding personal injury claims, property damage claims and security breaches.
Prior to joining Wolfenzon Rolle in 2015, Mr. Berry practiced all aspects of insurance defense litigation, securities litigation, commercial, and various other areas of state and federal civil litigation as an associate at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker. Mr. Berry has pro bono experience as a Plaintiff’s attorney for indigent clients in landlord-tenant disputes where he successfully upheld tenants’ rights and required landowners to provide basic housing needs for low-income renters.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Berry enjoyed a career as a paralegal at a defense firm, where he assisted with a complex joint coordinated proceeding in Southern California involving insurance coverage claims from the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. He also played a pivotal role in several construction defect matters and personal injury matters, including abuse cases involving religious institutions in California.
Mr. Berry graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1999. He received his J.D. from the California Western School of Law, where he was on law review and graduated cum laude.
Mr. Berry is a proud husband and father of two daughters and loves spending time with his family. He is a member of the San Diego Defense Lawyers (SDDL), San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) and the Louis M. Welsh Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
