Matthew Gunby is an associate with Wolfenzon Rolle. His practice focuses on complex construction defect litigation for general and subcontractors and general litigation matters, including business litigation, professional design liability, design build construction and personal injury defense. Mr. Gunby has experience in insurance coverage, including bad faith, subrogation, additional insured, and indemnity actions.
Prior to joining Wolfenzon Rolle in 2014, Mr. Gunby practiced all aspects of insurance litigation, real estate transactional and litigation, commercial, and various other areas of state and federal civil litigation. Mr. Gunby has represented all types of clients from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Gunby graduated with honors from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. He received his J.D. and LL.M in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he participated in appellate moot court and earned a Best Brief Award at the McClennon Moot Court Honors Competition.
Mr. Gunby is proud to call San Diego his home, where he loves to golf and play volleyball. Mr. Gunby is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and American Inns of Court, Louis M. Welsh Chapter.
