Jill C. Wolfenzon joins her husband, Bruno Wolfenzon, as a partner. Ms. Wolfenzon graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. She attended the University of San Diego, School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in 1988.
Ms. Wolfenzon worked in private practice for eight years with the San Diego firms of Schall, Bourdeau & Gore and McDonald, Hecht & Solberg, litigating in the areas of personal injury, real property, banking and bankruptcy. In 1992, Ms. Wolfenzon joined First Fidelity Thrift & Loan Association as Associate General Counsel and practiced primarily bankruptcy, real estate litigation and general civil litigation.
In late 1993, Ms. Wolfenzon decided to focus on raising her family, which now consists of three children. During her hiatus, Ms. Wolfenzon was involved in numerous charitable organizations and currently sits on the board of directors of a national nonprofit organization. Ms. Wolfenzon also continued to practice law part time for one of her largest clients, Realty Income Corporation, a San Diego based, publicly held real estate trust company. Ms. Wolfenzon joined Bruno and returned to the practice of law in September, 2000.
Ms. Wolfenzon is admitted to practice law in all California State Courts, as well as before the United States District Court of Southern California. Ms. Wolfenzon is also fluent in Spanish. Ms. Wolfenzon is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association and the San Diego County Bar Association.
