Devon Moore is a Southern California native. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2012, earning a degree in Psychology. Her studies focused on forensic and biological psychology, abnormal behavior, violence in society, and the intersection of psychology and law. She achieved the Dean’s Honor List each year and thoroughly enjoyed competitive swimming at the collegiate level.
During law school, Devon participated in numerous internships in various legal fields, including personal injury law, criminal law, professional negligence, medical malpractice, collections and elder abuse law, in addition to working as a certified law clerk at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office.
In 2015, Devon received a Juris Doctorate degree and graduated Cum Laude from Western State College of Law, achieving Honor Roll and a Merit Scholarship each year. She earned a Witkin award in the Criminal Law Externship Program, participated in the Criminal Law Society, completed the Criminal Law program, and earned a Certificate in Criminal Law, with distinction. Western State invited her to compete for Law Review, and selected her to be a Dean’s Fellow to mentor and tutor fellow law students.
In 2016, Devon admitted to the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Nevada. In 2017, Devon passed the Uniform Bar Exam making her eligible for admittance into twenty-eight additional State Bars.
Devon enjoys training for Half-Marathon, 10K and 5K competitions, yoga, golfing, wakeboarding, and hiking. She also enjoys traveling, watching and attending sporting events including basketball, baseball, hockey, and football games, in addition to concerts, museums, the beach, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
